A limit control is a secondary safety device and a must for applications where temperature overshoot can cause serious problems. Used in conjunction with a primary temperature control, the limit control will cut power to its output and turn off all resistive loads if your upper temperature setpoint is achieved. Display shows both limit set point and safe mode/alarm condition at the same time. A manual reset is required if an alarm condition occurs. The controller also features an audible alarm function, temperature selectable and one panel mounted receptacle that accept a three-prong plug. Select from models for types J, K, or T thermocouples with miniconnectors, or 100 ohm platinum RTD probes.
